Food is more than just nutrition. We eat to be with friends and family. We eat when we celebrate or mourn. Every part of being human can impact food choice. And that's okay.
Food is itself not "good" or "bad".
There is no single food or food component that will magically lead to health and wellness.
Hunger and fullness change over time, even day to day. We hunger for different things, in different moments. Discovering and listening to this is one of the keys to improving our relationships with food.
compassion towards all bodies
Health can be achieved at any weight.
We should only feel "good" or "bad" for eating a certain food if we stole that food.
We don't have to love our bodies, but we should strive to treat them with compassion. (This goes for other bodies too.)
